Link found between Actos and Bladder Cancer. 

The diabetes medication Actos (pioglitazone) may be associated with an increased risk of bladder cancer.

 The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a safety announcement June 15, 2011 – click to learn more from the FDA. 

 “FDA is also aware of a recent epidemiological study conducted in France which suggests an increased risk of bladder cancer with pioglitazone.
